Let's talk design.

It's this big, scary commitment and you really don't know what the most important aspects are, what the heck a HEX code is or why you need to choose fonts. Serif-what?! You may be asking yourself how you are EVER going to create a cohesive brand identity.. and honestly, without proper planning & tools, it's going to feel impossible.

But FEAR NOT! Here's a list of the top 5 design elements important to rebranding & branding. You can use this as a launch pad for starting your mood-board (something my clients are ALL too familiar with!)

Selecting outdated or incongruent colors can make or break your design strategy. Color is a powerful design element that has the ability to evoke emotion before any other component of your brands design... so definitely prioritize your color choices towards the top of your list. My clients get spoiled and have not only my knowledge of color scheming, but tons of resources in the "lounge" for aiding their quest for color harmony. YOU TOO can be a client, and get all the helps. *wink wink.*

FONTS are so important y'all! First impressions are important, and fonts are a big part of that. You'll need to decide on sans-serif or serif (or specialty), readability, letter spacing, header differences and Logo typefaces. You can Pinterest things like "font combinations" and see how to blend two fonts into one brand. Keep in mind that you may need to purchase a font if you're looking for something specialized!

Again, this is pretty critical. Our brains love patterns, so using customized, branded imagery helps reinforce your brands "pattern" of design. Lot's of people use stock photos to fill their websites, but be aware that another company could be using your same imagery. At THDCo. we're all about keeping your website truly YOURS, and having your own brand photos only sets you farther ahead of the pack. Gorgeous images will definitely help sell your biz to your potential clients, so don't skimp on this important detail!

To you online people, this may seem like an archaic concept.. but I can not TELL you how many times I have had a client come back to me and say, "Someone gave me your card and it was SO nice! Really great quality and loved your design. I could definitely tell that you were a P.R.O!"

You should always keep cards on you to hand out, you just never know when you're going to have the perfect moment for your "brewery pitch" and you'll want a perfectly branded card in hand. Having a strong logo & design suite makes creating cards easy.. and my all time favorite cards are the luxe series from They just can't be beat on quality. When they print, your colors actually match up and look high class as HECK Y'ALL.

This one is last, but probably the most obviously important component of your brand. It's the best representation of who you are as a business, and should easily and beautifully capture your audience. Logos should be as unique as you are, and realllllly reflect your business in a moment.

Making sure that your logo is infused with your (or your businesses) personality is the best way to immediately relate with potential clients. A strong logo suite will slingshot you from second rate industry personnel, to sought after first-class professional.

The name of the game in design, is ultimately making sure that you have a distinctive & unified brand identity. This eliminates confusion for your clients, makes your life wayyy easier and gives your the pro edge over your competitors. Let's face it, everyone shops for EVERYTHING online these days, and having a strong suite for both print & digital marketing is going to benefit your business for yearsssss to come.

Ready to invest in your business, and change the game? My clients get all of the juicy details (not to mention 100% website & brand design services) that they can handle, PLUS some!
